Well we had one very fabulous 4th of July. It has taken the entire week after to recover. We went whitewater rafting in Riggins, Idaho. Anyone around here knows it's some great water. Even better when you flip out of your raft in a class IV rapid and desperately try to get back in before you get pummeled by the next rapid 5 minutes down river. Our boat made it, but the other one had one wild ride through the next set. All ended well, some minor bumps and bruises....nothing a little Keystone Light wasn't able to cure. The next day we boarded the rafts yet again and conquered all 25 miles. Robi decided to kayak the first 12 miles on his own and entertained us all. There is no freaking way I would ever let a little piece of plastic shoot me through a rapid, but that's why we compliment one another right???
It was amazing to get away from modern amenities for the long weekend, but praise the Lord for baby wipes!!! Life wouldn't have been nearly as pleasant there without them. We are so blessed to have the amazing set of friends that we have developed and already anticipate the amazing memories next years trip will bring.
